There is no agony like bearing an untold story inside you. – Maya Angelou

Something strange happened to me about a year ago. I woke up from a nap with a character in my head. Now, I can’t tell you that this type of thing has never happened before. I’ve been a dreamer for as long as I can remember and I’m pretty sure I’ve had many such inspirations. But, something changed after I woke up from that dream. I actually did something; I started writing. I wrote my first short story that day, and ever since then I’ve been feeling the pull towards the pen. I’m not going to pretend that I’ve an amazing talent, nor do I have any illusions of fame. The goal here is to simply explore my interest and cultivate the craft of churning words into elegant narratives.

The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon. – Brandon Sanderson

If you are reading this, then I’m already one step closer to succeeding- thank you! That’s the easy part. The challenge is to somehow convince you to keep coming back for more. To make you invested in my journey and to garner your support along the way. In that spirit, I welcome any and all criticism, encouragement and pointers, so don’t forget to leave your comments.

Happy reading!
